Charles J. Deyo, Pastoral Minister-Chairman of the Board

Mr. Deyo owns and operates a private sawmill in the Millport area.  He has a broad background in lumber production, woodworking, mechanics, farming, hunting and fishing.  He personally oversees every aspect of Glory Hill.  He has dedicated countless hours to planning and restoration activities on the property as well as donated lumber and equipment to get the projects off the ground.  Mr. Deyo is also an ordained Pastoral Minister at New Hope Baptist Church who is the deedholder for Glory Hill.  Mr. Deyo was raised in the community immediately surrounding the Glory Hill property.  As a life-time member of this community, Mr. Deyo has a personal interest in the restoration and success of the Glory Hill Youth Community.

Charles B. Deyo-Secretary

Charles is employed at Schweitzer Aircraft.  He is responsible for secretarial duties for the program and will be a Youth Advocate and Mentor.  He has initiated own support group, YAWA, which is focused on helping teens and young adults with addictions.  His extensive carpentry experience will enable his direct involvement with restoring the existing buildings as well as building new structures on the grounds.  Mr. Deyo is also a life-time member of the community immediately surrounding Glory Hill.

Ann Turner-Security and Maintenance/Grounds Keeper

Mrs. Turner is self-employed providing landscaping and yard care services during the summer.  She will be in charge of property security and grounds maintenance.  Mrs. Turner also assists with administrative tasks and is a key leader in our sponsor recruitment efforts.   Mrs. Turner lives in the community immediately surrounding the Glory Hill property.

Patricia Collins- Accountant

Mrs. Collins is a retired US Post Master and a member of the community immediately surrounding Glory Hill.  Mrs. Collins will oversee financial functions for Glory Hill. 

Herbert Bauman-Board Member/Co-Treasurer

Mr. Bauman is an employee at Jubliee Foods in Horseheads, NY.  In addition to involvement with the development and building of the pavilion and fund raising efforts, Mr. Bauman lends treasury advisement along with Mrs. Collins. 

Neil LaFever-Board Member

Mr. LaFever, the owner of a successful automotive repair business in Montour Falls, NY, is a member of the New Hope Baptist Church.  He has several years experience in business operations and will lend valuable guidance in the administrative functions of Glory Hill.

Fred Flick-Board Member

Mr. Flick is a retired gentleman.  He will focus on fund raising efforts and sponsor recruitment.  The Board of Directors values his input on all projects and his enthusiam in supporting our youth.

Kenneth Sterling-Board Member

Kenny Sterling is a local community member who is an active participant of the New Hope Baptist Church as well as a Troop Leader for the Boy Scouts of America.  Kenny has volunteered many hours to the re-building effort of the Glory Hill property.
